Patricia Watlington
Hello, my name is Patricia Watlington, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I opened RISE counseling social work services with a vision to help people develop a true sense of holistic well-being. I work with people where they are in their life and work on goals to achieve their desired outcomes. Life can be challenging and having someone in your corner helping to guide you, and listen to you with unconditional positive regard is powerful when it comes to mental wellness. Allowing the client to lead when they are ready to work through certain topics and develop goals that they feel they can achieve.
I have an empathetic tone and the environment is warm and welcoming. I strive to have a space where people feel comfortable and secure to open up and share their thoughts and feelings.
I like to help the client imagine what life would be like if they had everything they needed to live a fulfilled and happy life. Then we explore together what changes would need to be made to accomplish this. We also will ensure that we focus on the symptoms that the client is experiencing and work to use goal language to reduce those symptoms.

Kristen Rasco
Hello, my name is Kristen Rasco and I am an LPC-Associate. I decided to go to school for counseling because I’ve always been curious about the human experience and what drives people to do what they do and think how they think. I love to help others wondering that same thing about themselves. I work with all ages of people to work on identified goals and learn together ways to achieve those goals. I have experience in working with trauma survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. We don’t have to live in our trauma forever, we can learn ways to be empowered and motivated to live life to the fullest. Using the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) model we can learn how thoughts, feelings and behaviors influence each other and overcome any negative impacts that they may have. I am passionate about helping people to navigate life’s challenges and obstacles to learning how to use their inner strength to keep going.
